CWA National has just announced that there will be 30, 3,000 scholarships awarded as part of the annual Joe Bernie Foundation. Eligible for scholarships are CWA members, their spouses, children and grandchildren, including the dependant's of retired, laid off, or deceased members. Applicants must be a high school graduate or high school student who will graduate the year in which they apply. Undergraduate and graduate students may also apply. All AT&T members should have received their annual Performance Award bonuses last week. The amount was $878 as the award was funded at 117% of the $750 standard. I would also like to make sure that all of our members are checking their pay stubs to make sure that everything is correct. National is still reporting that there have been some minor inconsistencies in some ares of the paychecks. They are having them corrected as soon as they are brought to their attention.

On Friday, March 2^nd we had a quarterly labor/management meeting with the Town of Westford. There were a number of issues handled at the meeting and anyone seeking more info should see any of the stewards.
