1. The Local President shall preside at meetings of the Local and at the meetings of the Local Executive Board and shall be responsible for the conduct of the Local including:
   1. The prosecution of grievances and appealing them to higher levels of the Union if not satisfactorily settled.
   2. The supervision of all committees of the Local.
   3. The approval of all bills to be paid by the Local Secretary-Treasurer and to countersign checks drawn on the treasury of the Local.
   4. Approve all non-budget items of one hundred ($100.00) or less.
2. The Local President shall have such additional duties as assigned by the Local or required by the Consitutional or Policies of the Union.
3. Submit a budget for approval to the Executive Board at the beginning of each Fiscal Year.
